FRUIT MIXER
Jump to RecipeFruit mixer or mixed fruit juice is a popular summer drink originated from the city of Madurai, and is commonly available all over Tamil Nadu. It is made with fresh fruits and NANNARI SARBATH. Any kind of fruits can be added to this recipe.
Fruit mixer is mostly preferred during summers. The nannari sarbath is a natural body coolant and, thus it helps to maintain the body heat during summers. In summers, seasonal fruits like watermelon and mangoes can also be added to this recipe.
ABOUT THE RECIPE:
I’ve used the most commonly available fruits for this recipe. Also, these fruits are mandatory for this recipe, since these fruits gives the basic flavour and taste for this recipe. Pomegranate, grapes, watermelon, mangoes or any other seasonal fruits can also be used for this recipe. These fruits can enhance the taste and flavour of the recipe.
Generally, food color is added to the fruit mixer to give the orange-red color to it. But, I’ve used ripe papaya as an alternate to food color.
*The original recipe has nannari sarbath added to it, but it can be replaced with any kind of sugar.
