Jump to Recipe

Paneer bhurji sandwich is a flavorful Indian sandwich made with PANEER BHURJI stuffed between slices of bread. The filling is prepared by crumbling paneer and sauteeing it with onions, tomatoes, green chillies and aromatic spices such as chilly powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and garam masala.

Paneer bhurji sandwich is commonly enjoyed in India as a hearty breakfast, evening snack or street-style cafe meal, known for its rich taste and satisfying texture. The sandwich is usually toasted or grilled with butter, giving it a crispy golden exterior while the inside remains soft, spicy and slightly creamy. Fresh coriander, green chutney, cheese or mayonnaise may also be added for extra flavor.

ABOUT THE RECIPE:

Any kind of sandwich spreads, sauces or cheese are usually added to give extra flavour for this recipe. I’ve used GREEN CHUTNEY for this recipe. Mayonnaise (regular mayonnaise, mint mayonnaise or tandoori mayonnaise) or cheese (cheddar, mozzarella or processed cheese) can also be used for this recipe.

I’ve used white bread for this recipe. Any kind of breads works well for this recipe.
