PANEER BHURJI SANDWICH

The sandwich is usually toasted or grilled with butter, giving it a crispy golden exterior while the inside remains soft, spicy and slightly creamy. Fresh coriander, green chutney, cheese or mayonnaise may also be added for extra flavor.
ABOUT THE RECIPE:
Any kind of sandwich spreads, sauces or cheese are usually added to give extra flavour for this recipe. I’ve used GREEN CHUTNEY for this recipe. Mayonnaise (regular mayonnaise, mint mayonnaise or tandoori mayonnaise) or cheese (cheddar, mozzarella or processed cheese) can also be used for this recipe.
I’ve used white bread for this recipe. Any kind of breads works well for this recipe.
INGREDIENTS FOR PANEER BHURJI SANDWICH (FOR SINGLE SERVING):
- BREAD SLICE – 2 NOS.
- PANEER BHURJI – 1/2 CUP
- GREEN CHUTNEY – 2 TBSP
- BUTTER – 2 TBSP
HOW TO MAKE PANEER BHURJI SANDWICH:
- Spread 2 tablespoon of green chutney on one side of a bread slice.

- Also, add 1/2 cup of paneer bhurji and spread it evenly.

- Place the another slice of bread on top.

- Heat a pan, and add a tablespoon of butter to it.

- Once the butter is melted, place the sandwich onto the pan. Toast it on medium-low for 1~2 minutes or until it turns light golden brown in color.

- After about 1~2 minutes, add 1 tablespoon of butter on another side, turn it and toast them until it turns light golden brown in color.

- Once the sandwich is toasted really well, transfer it to a plate. Serve it hot.
YUMMY AND DELICIOUS PANEER BHURJI SANDWICH IS READY.

VARIATIONS:
- Any kind of sandwich spreads, chutneys, mayonnaise or cheese can be used as a spread for this recipe.
- Any kind of bread works well for this recipe.
- This recipe tastes better with salted butter or any flavoured butter. I usually don’t prefer unsalted butter for this recipe.
- The green chutney can also be applied to both bread slices for extra flavor.
