ABOUT THE RECIPE:
Spicy butter garlic chicken is a two-step process. The marinated chicken pieces are fried in oil, and then tossed in a buttery garlic sauce. This recipe has to be served immediately, to maintain the mild crispness of the chicken.
To maintain the crispness for a long time, fry the chicken in advance and toss them in the sauce 5 to 10 minutes before serving. The marination used for the chicken in this recipe helps to maintain the crispness for about 1 hour.
INGREDIENTS FOR SPICY BUTTER GARLIC CHICKEN:
FOR MARINATION:
- BONELESS CHICKEN BREAST – 500 GMS
- CHILLY POWDER – 1 TSP
- PEPPER POWDER – 1 TSP
- CORN STARCH – 2 TSP
- SALT – AS REQUIRED
- OIL – 2 TBSP (FOR FRYING)

MAIN INGREDIENTS:
- GARLIC (FINELY CHOPPED) – 2 TBSP
- BUTTER – 2 TBSP
- KETCHUP – 1 TBSP
- RED CHILLY SAUCE – 1 TBSP
- DARK SOY SAUCE – 1 TBSP
- SALT – AS REQUIRED

HOW TO MAKE SPICY BUTTER GARLIC CHICKEN:
- Cut the boneless chicken breast into small bite sized pieces, and add them to the mixing bowl.

- Add 2 tsp of cornstarch, 1 tsp of chilly powder, 1 tsp of pepper powder and salt to it.

- Mix everything well. Cover it, and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes.

- After about 20 to 30 minutes, heat a pan and add 2 to 3 tbsp of oil to it.
- Once the oil is heated, add the marinated chicken pieces to it. Fry them in batches. Let it fry for about 1 minute on one side, and then turn it.

- Fry the chicken until it turns golden brown in color. Once it turns golden brown, transfer it to a plate. Repeat the process with the remaining marinated chicken.

- Once all the chicken is fried, add 2 tbsp of butter to the same pan.

- Once the butter starts to melt, add the finely chopped garlic to it.

- On high flame, fry the garlic until it turns light golden brown in color.

- Once the garlic turns light golden brown in color, add the ketchup, red chilly sauce and soy sauce to it.

- Mix everything well. It will start to boil immediately.

- Add the fried chicken pieces to it.

- Mix it really well, until all the chicken pieces are well coated in the sauce.

- Once the chicken pieces are well coated in the sauce, garnish it with chopped coriander leaves, and turn off the flame.

YUMMY AND DELICIOUS SPICY BUTTER GARLIC CHICKEN IS READY.

SERVE IT IMMEDIATELY AS A STARTER, OR A SIDE DISH FOR RICE, ROTI OR NAAN.
