CARDAMOM POWDER

Cardamom powder is a finely ground spice made from dried green cardamom pods and seeds. It has a sweet, aromatic, warm and slightly citrusy flavour with a refreshing fragrance. It is widely used in Indian sweets, desserts, beverages and savoury dishes to add a distinctive aroma and flavour.

ABOUT THE RECIPE:

I’ve used around 1 cup of whole cardamom for this recipe. 1 cup of whole cardamom yields around 1/2 cup of cardamom powder. This cardamom powder can be stored at room temperature for about 3 months. It can also be stored in freezer for a longer shelf life.
