ABOUT THE RECIPE:
This recipe serves 2, and I’ve used about 9 ~ 10 ripe chiku (sapota) for this recipe. I haven’t added any sugar in this recipe. Ripened chiku has a natural sweetness to it, and doesn’t really need any extra sugar. If the chiku is not ripe enough, then add 1~2 teaspoon of sugar according to your preference.
Cold milk is commonly preferred for this recipe. If you use room temperature milk, add 3~4 ice cubes along with the milk, while blending.
INGREDIENTS FOR CHIKU MILKSHAKE (FOR 2 SERVINGS):
- CHIKU (SAPOTA) – 9~10 NOS.
- ICE CREAM – 2 LARGE SCOOPS
- COLD MILK – 2 CUPS
- SUGAR – 2 TSP (OPTIONAL)
HOW TO MAKE CHIKU MILKSHAKE:
- Wash the chiku thoroughly with water.

- Using a spoon, scoop out the flesh of the fruit, and add it to the blender. The skin can be discarded.

- Also, add 2 cups of milk and 2 large scoops of vanilla ice cream to the blender.
